There is beauty in simplicity, stillness, and the common rhythms of our lives. These are the thoughts I'm communicating to the viewer along with my admiration for the enduring nature of life . Especially drawn to the human figure, capturing a gesture in expressive line never grows old and is very satisfying. While the figures are drawn from life, my landscapes may stray farther from the truth. Often, they involve my imagination and memory to convey a "sense" of place rather than an accurate rendering.
